Don't Freeze Out Flavor!
Feeling like white wine doesn’t have the subtle nuances of red? You may be freezing those flavors out! Most whites display their best characteristics anywhere from about 40 to 50 degrees. To give you some perspective, most home refrigerators are set to 35 or 40 degrees.
I challenge you to invite some friends over and get two bottles of the same white wine. Serve one straight from the fridge and one that has been left to rest on your counter for a bit. Do a side by side taste test, and I think you will be surprised how much the temperature changes the dynamic of the same wine!
